Last Updated: March 21, 2026Thank you for considering commissioning me!To ensure a smooth, professional, and fair experience for both parties, please read and understand the following Terms of Service carefully before placing a commission.By commissioning me or making any payment, you agree to be bound by these terms in full.1. Commission AgreementBy placing a commission or making payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service.Failure to comply with any part of these terms may result in immediate termination of your commission without any refund or entitlement to completed work.2. Payment & DepositsAll commissions require payment in United States Dollars (USD).
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your slot and begin work (typically 50% of the total quoted price, unless otherwise agreed in writing). The deposit must be paid before any sketching, lineart, or progress begins.Deposits are strictly non-refundable under all circumstances, including but not limited to changes of mind, dissatisfaction with initial sketches, personal circumstances, or commission cancellation by the client. The deposit covers time reserved, initial planning, and administrative costs.The remaining balance is due before final delivery of the completed artwork (or upon approval of the final piece, depending on the agreed payment structure).^{Full payment is required upfront for smaller commissions or as mutually agreed.}Works-in-progress (WIPs) are only shared if explicitly requested before the commission starts or for commissions valued at $50 USD or more.3. Wait Times & ProcessI prioritize delivering high-quality artwork, and my creative process can be deliberate and time-intensive.
No specific turnaround times are guaranteed. You are welcome to message me at any time for updates or questions about your piece.4. Copyright & Usage RightsYou are granted a non-exclusive license to use the commissioned artwork for personal, non-commercial purposes only (e.g., profile pictures, personal prints for yourself, sharing on social media with proper credit).You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, or profit from the artwork without my explicit written permission.You are prohibited from editing, cropping out, or removing watermarks/signatures from the artwork.I (the artist) retain full copyright and ownership of the artwork unless commercial rights are separately purchased.5. Commercial RightsCommercial usage rights (rights to reproduce, sell, merchandise, etc.) may be purchased separately for 300% of the original commission cost.In addition, a 3% commission fee must be paid to me on any profits generated from commercial use of the artwork.Commercial rights are not included in the base commission price.6. Cancellation & Refund PolicyI reserve the right to cancel any commission at any time for any reason, in which case a full refund (excluding the non-refundable deposit) will be issued if work has not progressed significantly.Once the non-refundable deposit has been paid, you may not cancel the commission or request a refund of any amount.The deposit is forfeited upon cancellation by the client.If you cancel before any payment is made, no fees apply.Completed commissions are final sale—no refunds after delivery.7. ChargebacksChargebacks, disputes, or reversal of payments through payment platforms are strictly prohibited.Initiating a chargeback will result in immediate forfeiture of all rights to the artwork (including personal use license), and I reserve the right to resell or reuse the commissioned piece.You will be permanently banned from commissioning me in the future.I reserve the right to pursue recovery of funds and report the chargeback to relevant platforms or authorities.8. Commission Edits / RevisionsReasonable revisions are allowed during agreed-upon stages (e.g., sketch approval).Major edits or changes requested after a stage is approved (e.g., after lineart or coloring begins) may incur additional fees or may not be accommodated.Excessive revision requests may result in commission termination without refund entitlement.9. GeneralThese Terms of Service may be updated at any time.
Continued commissions after updates constitute acceptance of the new terms.
